England won the toss and chose to bowl first. Despite losing early wicket India managed to set a competitive target for England with a score of 230 runs. The Indian innings was anchored by their star opener Rohit Sharma, who showcased his brilliance with a splendid 87 runs. On the other hand, KL Rahul stayed on the crease wit Captain and scored 39 runs. Later in the inning Suryakumar Yadav scored important 49 runs. English bowler David Willey pick 3 wicket while Chris Woakes and Adil Rashid picked 2 wicket each.
