Quality of life is a concept created by the economist JK Galbraith in 1958 that conveys a different view of the priorities and effects of quantitative economic goals.

According to this concept, the political-economic and social objectives should not be considered so much in terms of quantitative economic growth as material growth in living standards, but rather in the qualitative improvement of men’s living conditions.

This would only be possible through a better development of the social infrastructure .
Linked to the suppression of disparities , both regional and social, to the defense and conservation of the environment.

To ensure a good quality of life , one must have healthy habits, have a balanced diet, healthy relationships, have free time, and various other habits that make the individual feel good.

These actions have good consequences for the individual , who begins to use humor to deal with stressful situations and to make him feel that he has control over his own life.
