On September 7th, Shah Rukh Khan’s film “Jawan” is set to hit the screens, and yesterday marked the commencement of advance ticket sales for its grand premiere.
Remarkably, the movie has already raked in INR 4 crore in ticket sales for its opening day.
As the hours passed since the initiation of pre-booking, it became increasingly evident that this high-energy action thriller would attract substantial crowds to theaters. Pre-orders for the film commenced at 10 am on Friday, and by 3 pm, sales had swiftly exceeded the 1 lakh milestone, accumulating to INR 4 crore.
The Tamil rendition of the movie, buoyed by the immense popularity of Tamil superstars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, concurrently grossed between INR 15-20 lakhs on its first day, owing to a surge in attendance by Tamil-speaking audiences.
Directed by Atlee Kumar and produced by SRK’s wife, Gauri Khan, under the Red Chillies Entertainment banner, “Jawan” has been touted as an action-packed extravaganza brimming with intense action sequences.
